Emily Scott is a chef, author and storyteller.

Emily believes the simplest food is the most memorable — a handful of beautiful ingredients, a moment worth savouring, a table shared. Her cooking is shaped by where life takes her: Cornwall, where the sea calls you home; Bordeaux, where produce sings with the season; and the Cayman Islands, where sunshine brings brightness to every dish.

Through her books and weekly writing on her best-selling Substack Shore to Shore, Emily shares recipes that come with a story — dishes that celebrate connection, comfort and pleasure in the everyday.

Her career has taken many forms: classically trained chef, restaurant owner, and cook book author. But at the heart of everything is a love for honest cooking that brings people together.

Emily now divides her time between the kitchens and places she loves most — Cornwall, Bordeaux and the Cayman Islands working as Executive Consultant Chef at the Calypso Grill, and writing wherever she finds a quiet moment and something delicious to capture on the page.
